In 2012, while in prison,I was going through my memories,and a moment with my cousin was clear as if I was in the room watching us,back in 2004. Nevada Blate had passed later the same year, that memory sparked an idea. We were discussing fashion—my passion—when he mentioned he’d name a clothing line “Balante.” That got me thinking about my own name, leading to the phrase “Be Famous.” But to me, fame wasn’t about celebrity status; it was about self-worth and confidence.
